Scalp micropigmentation is all we do
Plenty of places offer scalp micropigmentation as one item on a long menu of other treatments. We don't. SMP is the only thing we do, and we think that focus matters. A natural, convincing result comes from doing the same treatment again and again - learning how different skin tones take pigment, how to design a hairline that suits a person's face and age, and how to build density that still looks soft and real up close. When a studio is built around one treatment, that's where its attention goes.
Our approach
Our approach is calm, careful and upfront. We don't rush appointments and we don't push you towards a decision - losing your hair, or watching it thin, is personal, and choosing what to do about it should be your call in your own time. We aim for results that look understated and natural, like you on a good day, rather than something that looks obviously "done". And we talk to you in plain English: no jargon, no overselling, just a clear explanation of what SMP would realistically look like for your situation. Every treatment is tailored to the individual, because no two heads of hair - or goals - are the same.
What to expect
Whatever your situation, you follow the same unhurried path:
- A free consultation - in person at the Haverhill studio or by video call, to understand what you want and talk through what's realistic.
- A tailored plan - your hairline, the density you're after, the likely number of sessions and the cost, agreed before any work begins.
- Your treatment, built in stages - typically over two to three sessions spaced a few weeks apart, so the look develops gradually and naturally rather than all at once.
- A review, and occasional touch-ups - we check the result settles the way you want, and a short touch-up every so often keeps it looking sharp.
Every session is carried out personally by Stephen, in a clean, comfortable studio, to careful and hygienic standards, with clear written aftercare so you know exactly how to look after the result.

We'd rather set realistic expectations than win a booking we can't live up to. Scalp micropigmentation is a cosmetic treatment, not a medical one - it creates the appearance of density or a closely-shaved hairline; it doesn't grow hair or treat hair loss. It suits a lot of people very well, but not everyone, and we'll tell you plainly if we think it isn't the right answer for you.
